Kindred Hearts Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting and strengthening adoptive families in the Redding area and beyond. Founded by adoptive parents and professionals, the organization provides vital post-adoption resources that help children and families thrive.

Services Offered:

• Monthly Support Groups
  Safe spaces for adoptive families to connect, share experiences, and receive valuable guidance.

• Tween and Teen Groups
  Social-emotional groups designed for adopted youth, offering age-appropriate activities and discussions that build confidence and connection.

• Respite Events
  Monthly gatherings that provide caregivers with a well-deserved break while ensuring children are cared for in a supportive environment.

• Education and Training
  Workshops and programs for parents and professionals focused on trauma-informed care, attachment, and the challenges unique to adoption.

• Family Events
  Fun-filled experiences like BBQs, movie nights, and game nights that bring adoptive families together to create lasting memories.

• Individual & Family Therapy
  Access to adoption-competent therapists who understand the complexities of trauma, attachment, and family dynamics.

• Children’s Summer Camp
