Understanding and Managing Generations in the workplace
Generations in the Workforce is a training program that identifies the four generations of workers who are side-by-side in the workplace for the first time in history. This program will help you manage and work with Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Generation Xers and Millennials.
During this presentation you’ll learn how to:
- Identify characteristics of the four generations in the workforce
- Discuss each generation’s unique contributions and areas for growth
- Diagnose workplace issues from a generational perspective
- Identify potential generational conflicts and help prevent them
- Use motivation and retention tips specific to the different generations
The Generations in the Workforce learning event provides you with the training you need to manage and work with members from the various generations.
Speaker: Sean Sharp
Born and raised in Redding California, Sean Sharp began his career in professional life coaching, staffing and professional recruiting in 1993. Over this time, he’s assisted thousands of job seekers find employment with some of the best companies in the Greater Redding Area. A graduate of Chico State and Simpson University in Business/Human Resource Management, Sean has developed several creative recruiting, hiring practices, training, and management programs for multiple organizations throughout his career. After 26 years of serving the Redding community in Staffing and Employment, 20 of those years with Express Employment Professionals, Sean has impacted thousands of job seekers by providing hope, stability, and income to care for their families.
“I’ve had over 20 years working with Express Employment Professionals, my primary purpose of the Redding Express office has been to “Help People Succeed”, and I’m very thankful to have a career that allows me to help people in our community. My emphasis is to manage and achieve excellence in the general operations of the Redding Express office. This is accomplished through hiring, training, managing my team through accountability, motivation, and servant leadership. Secondarily, to make the Redding Express office a sought after and desired company to work for in the Greater Redding Area. With the overwhelming success of Express Employment Professionals of Shasta County, we have expanded our reach to assist businesses and job seekers in Siskiyou County by designating Express Yreka into its own Franchise as of December 2018. My wife, Heather and I broadened our reach up to Siskiyou County in 2014. With the success of the expansion helping the best people find jobs with the best companies, we split Yreka into its’ own Franchise in December 2018. We anticipate broadening Lassen County as well by the end of 2019″
