Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: JC Marrero

Greetings. My name is JC Marrero, and I am a financial advisor with nearly 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. I am committed to providing comprehensive financial guidance for my clients in Redding and abroad. I am honored to be a husband to my wonderful wife, Sara, and a father to our newborn son, Christian Lane. We also share our home with our loveable pup, Walton.

I have held various banking and insurance roles in my career, and most recently, I was a licensed relationship banker with JPMorgan Chase. Additionally, I hold a bachelor’s degree in business from Simpson University. I am motivated by the opportunity to help my clients achieve their goals and empower them with financial education. I take pride in educating my clients on how to make informed decisions about their financial future. I use a comfortable and easy-to-talk-to style where I explain complex concepts in a way that makes them accessible and understandable.

As a first-generation American, my journey in finance started from scratch. Coming from a family of Cuban immigrants who lacked financial education, I had to learn a lot on my own—budgeting, finances, investing and more. This personal experience fuels my passion for helping others navigate the world of finance.

My investment philosophy centers around quality investments and long-term strategies. I remain focused on my clients’ long-term financial security and do not allow short-term market fluctuations to sway my approach. I stay updated by regularly relying on Edward Jones’ resources and reading online articles related to the financial industry. I prioritize gathering as much information as possible to make well-informed decisions. Good decisions are based on good information, and I strive to ensure that my clients have the knowledge they need to make sound financial choices.

I enjoy hiking, traveling and recharging in the wonders of nature. I am actively involved in my community through my church, The Stirring. My wife and I volunteer and lead a Bible study. Giving back and supporting others is an essential part of who I am.
